I grew up in a pretty rural area, with a really small high school. There was on girl there who everyone adored, Julie. She really stood out from everyone else. She was beautiful and kind. She said hi to me once and I remember daydreaming that maybe we’d be great friends. She sang + starred in a lot of the school plays, just one of those people who everyone though was going to be a star. In the 12th grade, she was killed in a car accident. I still think about her, not very often but sometimes she’ll pop into my head.
